Kellen was born and raised in Hawaii. After high school, Kellen attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles followed by the University of Oregon in Eugene. During her college years, she studied Merchandise Product Development, Business, and Psychology. At the University of Oregon Kellen joined the Alpha Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority and even served as the President of the Honolulu Alumnae chapter. She started her career as a flight attendant 7 years ago and is currently based out of Los Angeles for a major airline. Kellen currently lives in Portland, Oregon with her fiance, Joey and their two doxies, Radar and Embry.

Kellen's platform is Let Love Take Flight, bringing awareness to mental health issues in flight crew. She is very passionate about her platform as she is a flight attendant and her fiance is a pilot. Her platform allows her to work closely with th|AIR|apy, a professional non-profit organization, created in 2020 to promote and advocate for the mental health of Flight Attendants. Along with th|AIR|apy, Kellen works with numerous charitable organizations including Children's Miracle Network (CMN), the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the United Service Organizations (USO), and Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals (OFOSA).

In her spare time, she enjoys baking, photography, traveling, and crafting. When Kellen isn't in flight she likes to keep busy with her cookie business, pageant coaching, photography, digital art commissions, and crafting business. She has a few more projects in the works and can't wait to share them with everyone in the near future
